Thank Goodness for Hillbillies! Kentucky? No. This is the Orange County Fair … Motorhome Demolition Derby. I passed up Pat Benetar and the Romantics for this. Went with the Panas Ewart and Pisano group. This only lasted about 20 minutes. About half way into it, motorhome number 420 lost his ice box and dragged it around for the rest of the show.

This was an image of a bear taken in Yosemite last week. We encountered 4 bears on our trip through Mammoth, Yosemite, and Sequoia. This was the first bear. This bear was brown while the next 2 were blonde and the last bear was black. I took some images of those also, yet I like this image since the bear is looking right into my lens. Fortunately I was using a 200 mm lens or I would look like this guy … HERE.

We just returned from a 2.5 week trip in PR. Weather was nice. Surf was great (12-15′ on some days), and it was nice to visit family. This was Lyla’s first trip in a plane and she was very good. We flew direct which made the trip a little shorter … still about 7.5 hours. This is an image of her at Crashboat Beach soaking up some sun. We actually kept her protected most of the time under an umbrella since the sun is really intense there. The sound of the ocean with a breeze and comfortable temps put her right to sleep. Needless to say this shot was pretty much staged.

This is a picture of Lyla with Limary. Lyla is a little over 6 weeks here. She is smiling and talking … baby talk of course.

This is an image of Limary at 32 weeks. I took this picture in our house by the back door. Our girl is moving alot. We still have not made a decision on a name yet. Almost 2 months left. I can hardly wait.

Well it is official and has been for a couple months now. A new chapter in our lives has opened. Limary and I are having a baby. When this sonogram was taken on January 12 our baby looked like a gummy bear. Limary will soon be 5 months. On April 2 we will have another sonogram which will determine whether it is a boy or a girl. Limary is over the sickness part of pregnancy and has entered the craving stage. She is still rather petit. It looks like she has a little basketball in there. It is nice that a few of our friends are having children at around the same time. Brent and Beth, Gabe and Tina. I will post more pics in later months.
